As you already know, the Monks of Silvador recognise Ryuusama as a mentor of peace and the arts, but in times of need, a teacher of the art of war to defend themselves. They are a devoted orginization, dedicated to peace and defense, but their teachings are generally that of unification and peace. Though they acknowledge the state of the world, they urge for their followers to keep to this as close as possible.

While pacifistic, when provoked, the monks aren't exactly like a nerdy kid in school. They -will- kick ass and chew bubblegum. Too bad gum isn't invented yet. Their style of fighting is much like a martial artist, or weapon specialist if they prefer a certain weapon.

The Monks of Silvador firmly believe that Ryuusama created them and all of the other beasts in the world, including the Ryuu themselves. Obviously this is off base, but they don't have the advantage of the Ryuu's history.

At the monestary, Magic is researched, as is martial arts. At the moment, many of the magical and chi scholars are studying to look for a way to grant flight to someone, if even temporarily. They have made some progress, creating a limited speed and altitude levitation spell.
