Appearance: Like a large anthro panther of some kind, Yama stands at an imposing 6 feet 4 inches. He was one of the first of the Ichitarian military's cross-species soldiers. He wears dark grey robes and shiny black armor, and a matching shiny black circlet. He wears no shoes, and walks stealthily on his feline feet. While he's certainly capable of holding his own in physical combat, his real strength is in magic. His amber eyes are highly visible in the dark, especially with how much they contrast against his fur. He generally carries his staff, though if he's expecting to need to get down and dirty, he'll carry his black scythe slung across his back. (The material used to make his armor, circlet, and scythe is unknown, but presumably magical in origin.)

Personality: Very quiet and he tends to keep to himself, content to spend hours in the palace library or in his personal quarters, curled up and studying books, scrolls, ancient artifacts, etc. He has a passion for knowledge that borders on obsession, and takes full advantage of his position as one of Emperor Ichitar's generals to pursue his desire to learn stuff. He's more likely to be at the rear of an attacking force, providing powerful support with his spells, than at the forefront of his troops.

Special talents: Stealth magic, transformation magic (slightly limited- he can't just turn a person into, say, a dragon, without having a dragon to change into a person.)
