Another leftover from the Eve Wars, numerous OZ-08MMS Cancer and OZ-09MMS Pisces would survive the conflicts as the worst of the combat was either on land or in space. With the disarmament of the Earth's military, the aquatic mobile suits would, like their ground-pounding cousins, be stripped of their weaponry and sold off. The submersible suits would end up in recreational, salvage, underwater construction, and other similar roles. As always, some would end up in the hands of hostile factions, but were of limited use for the same reason so many of the suits survived the wars: Their effectiveness was constrained primarily to large bodies of water, so for combat purposes they were not terribly practical. A large number of the units would end up employed by the Earth Defense Organization, but would eventually be replaced by a limited production run of the slightly more modern OZ-14MMS Aquarius.
