A mass produced mobile suit based on technologies developed for the PNUCU-01, the Eridanus was designed to take full advantage of the NUCU control interface. While the design's armament was not terribly outstanding in any way, boasting standard vulcans and a modest assortment of ranged and melee weapons, the Eridanus would have been a terrible foe for reasons unrelated to the weapons. Using the NUCU system, the pilot could control the mobile suit as they would their own body, allowing for reaction times well exceeding all current control interfaces. The project was scrapped however, when problems with the system's feedback could not be adequetely fixed for a mass production unit.
