Technical and Historical Notes
Perhaps the mascot mobile
suits of the Peacemakers organization, the PM-01MS
Meth and the PM-02DMS Emeth best symbolize the group's efforts to
form a capable mobile suit combat force without the political or
finacnial backing of the Preventers or its successor, the Earth Defense
Organization. Picking from the trove of trashed machines following the
Eve Wars, the Peacemakers cobbled together a number of awkward but
functional mobile suits. Using the upper torso of a Taurus for the
central piece, the Emeth incorporates the legs, arms, shoulder
pods/boosters, and lower torso of a Virgo II mobile doll, granting this
chimera exceptional defense in the form of the doll's Planet Defensors.
In place of the Taurus's wing binders, the Peacemakers fixed a
Serpent's booster pack into place further increasing the suit's already
impressive mobility. A beam saber was mounted in the armor of the right
arm for use as a melee weapon, and the unit could be equipped with any
number of different handheld weapons. Under the capable leadership of
Noah Nathway, these patchwork mobile suits would fare surprisingly
well, even against the newer, more modern machines being fielded on all
sides of the conflict.
