What the hell were you ON?!
Nothing more serious than chocolate, I swear! Actually, I had overdosed badly on more well-known sprite comics Bob and George and 8-Bit Theater. Then the thought occured to me that no one had yet attempted a sprite comic using sprites from Gundam Wing: Endless Duel. With the gracious help of my online friends Pyros, OverWing, and Trigger X, I got my grubby little hands on a LOT of GW:ED sprites. The rest, as they say, is history.

Fuel?

    A) It sounds nifty in "Endless Fuel", because it sounds so close to "Endless Duel". B) There is going to be much fuelishness in the strip. C) It is a quasi-tribute to the glory days of the Fuel Era of the Protoman Homepage (now defunct), one of my first Internet stomping grounds when I first got online many years ago. D) "Fuel", to the best of my knowledge, is something similiar to a fool, only cooler. E) There is no reason E.

How often are updates?

While I would simply LOVE to be able to maintain a daily strip, I'm just too damn lazy, and there are things like writer's block, Real Life, fanfiction projects, and two other webpages that I sorta help maintain. Updates and new strips can be expected to be sporadic at best, but probably every couple of days, much like 8-Bit seems to be whenever I feel up to putting together a new strip. However, the flip side of writer's block is overactive imagination, so there may be periods of time where the strip will be updated daily, possibly with more than one strip in a given day.

How big are the strips?

MOST of the strips are 800 x 200 in size, though I may occasionally do an extra-large strip (as seen with Episode #12) that is 800 x 400, or possibly larger. The files are .gifs to keep the file sizes down and so that even older browsers and stuff can view them.

What the hell is up with this disgusting pink-on-grey?!

Depending on the comic's current plot arc, among other things, One intends to make "theme" graphicsets. This is Version 2.0- Epyon Style. Hence, the theme is heavily Epyon-influenced. And we all know Epyon has just such a DISGUSTING color scheme =p The entire page will get a makeover with the next theme, Version 2.5- Wing-Zero's Revenge. You might also note Epyon's handiwork tagging various banners heading the sections. It's different. ^_^

What about the Gundam pilots?

This ain't about the G-boys! They may be referred to in the strip, but they are not part of it in any way, shape, or form. This is purely Gundamy mecha madness! However, <shameless plug> if you'd like to read something more serious that does involve the Gundam Wing crew, hop over to the fanfiction One and I are working on- Gundam Wing: A New Era. </shameless plug>.

I have sprites! Can I submit them?

As for sprite contributions, take a gander at the E-mail section. Yes, I will accept sprites (though given the viruses going around, I would recommend getting in touch with me before you send the sprite(s) to increase the odds of them being accepted.). If I do use the sprites, I will give you credit up there with the three guys who've helped me thus far. Keep in mind that I may already have the sprite you want to send (especially if it's from Endless Duel.)

Can I use your sprites?

NO. I repeat. NO. Several of the sprites are original ones I have pieced together from the ones I've been supplied. My friends (Trigger X in particular) have worked their butts off ripping and sending the things. If you want the sprites that badly, I can get you in touch with them and you can ask them. I will not send sprites out, being that my originals and the GW:ED sprites are all on the same massive .psp file type spritesheets. If I get word that my original sprites are being ripped, I will be getting in touch with the webmaster. And at the very least, you will be mocked and ridiculed publicly, and probably more than once in front of a live IRC audience.

ALSO: At the request of my main sprite-supplier, Trigger Xero, I'd also like to point out that the sprite sheets for Endless Fuel are an ongoing project and nowhere near complete!

What if I want to make a fan comic?

I can put you in touch with the guys who have provided me with sprites. I don't think the issue of fan comics will arise for quite some time, if ever, and I think any fan comics that might arise will be able to make do just dandy with the original Endless Duel sprites. Or you can piece your own together! It's not that tough!

How do you make the comics?

Primarily I use Paint Shop Pro 6 to make the comics. I start with a panel template (I currently have 5), and arrange the background stuff (if any). Then I place the sprites themselves in the panel, and then special effects (sweatdrops, bugged out optics, etc). Lastly I stick the dialogue in place, and then copy and paste the panel into the strip. Photoshop is used on those occasions where I need an effect that Paint Shop can't quite provide (lens flares, certain lighting effects, yadda yadda).

What's the plot?

There is no plot. I have a very vague idea of where the comic is going, but I have NO plan for actually GETTING there. Plot happens at random and unexpected intervals, and may branch off unannounced. As for backstory... I don't really think there is one.
