Technical and Historical Notes

Among the rest of the assorted mobile suit parts the Peacemakers salvaged in the aftermath of the Une Conflict, they made off with spare parts and assemblies left over from the development of the PNUCU-01, including a head assembly and the cockpit system. The Gelem is a massively asymetrical suit, combining the main body of an OZ-12SMS Taurus with the left shoulder of a MMS-01 Serpent, the right shoulder and arm of a Virgo, and so on. A real Frankenstein of a mobile suit, but quite dangerous despite its ungainly appearance, largely due to a powerful armament and the NUCU system, easily putting the Gelem a few steps above most mass produced mobile suits in use at the time.
