Another variant of the VMF01-2MS Serpent II modified for specific mission roles. Unlike the slower Cannon Type, this version sacrifices some offensive and defensive capabilities in favor of vastly increased mobility in the form of several additional thrusts in the legs, shoulders, and backpack. To make room for the enlarged thruster suite, the Serpent II's normal rear skirt armor was replaced, adding more thrusters but removing the Planet Defensor units. In addition, the extra thrusters reduced the suit's missile capacity by half. These suits were well-adapted for combat on the ground, as with their heightened thrust could hover for short periods, make exceptionally high jumps, and other difficult manuvers.
