Technical and Historical Notes

As part of a decoy to lure away attention from its new MMS-01 Serpent forces, the Barton Foundation deployed a large number of OZ-12SMS Taurus mobile dolls. While many of these were destroyed, a substantial number of them were merely disabled. These units would be retrofitted for human use and later sold to collectors and industry, a fate much like many of the other military use mobile suits of the time. Several would end up in Peacemaker hands, and were fitted with a single vulcan gun pod and given a new paintjob. These units would form the backbone of the Peacemaker's aerial cover, though they would end up badly outmatched by the Earth Defense Organization's modern EDO-MSX07 Draco in combat.
